Shannon Currie was born in Manhattan, New York and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. She is an experienced communicator with an extensive background in corporate America, law, finance, entertainment and hospitality.

Specializing in client management and strategic communication, she worked for a high-profile celebrity, handling personal and professional affairs and garnering expertise in reputation management, branding, media relations and corporate and digital communications for many years. Currently at Benenson Strategy Group, a strategic research based consultancy that advises global corporations, institutions and political leaders, Shannon is the right-hand to the CEO, who was the Chief Strategist on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign and Senior Advisor for President Obama is 2007.

A passionate commitment to community service, issues advocacy and mentor-ship, Shannon has worked with various non-profit organizations including Daddy’s House Social Programs, Girls Scouts of America, Linda’s Voice, The Boys and Girls Club and Rosie’s Theater Kids.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from New York University.
